I flew to the world's only beach runway.

This week, in the last of the three videos from Scotland, I visited Barra Airport, where the beach runway disappears twice a day under high tide.

Interesting links and other videos that I've found this week:

• A paper from 2017 that estimates that the US nationwide cost of people driving while playing Pokémon Go was between $2bn and $7.3bn. Even if you disagree with the final numbers, it's an interesting look into how estimates like that are made.
• I thought the BioButton was a parody, but no: apparently as part of their social distancing procedures, Oakland University is requesting (but no longer requiring) staff and students to attach a biomonitor to their chests with medical adhesive.
• "A pivotal mosquito experiment could not have gone better": this is excellent news for the fight against mosquito-borne diseases.
• If you're expecting a group of sword-wielding baddies to crash your wedding, Jill Bearup can advise you on what to wear to fight them.
• And finally, I now have a lot of questions about Dutch street organs.
